Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business at an early age. At the age of 16, she turned 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several shows on television. Her fame was due to her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several significant national and international productions. A few of them include the British biographical movie Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historic miniseries Napoleon. She was also a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in The Cannes Film Festival.
